<h2><strong>What is the Student Fellowship?</strong></h2>
The Bill of Rights Institute's Student Fellowship program is a leadership development program. Fellows participate in robust programming during the school year and participate in a culminating week of programming in and around Philadelphia, PA and Washington, DC.

<p>To further their learning on civic leadership and participation! Through this program, students will explore the following questions:</p>

<p>&#8211; What is civil society and why is it important in America<br />&#8211; How can we have an influence in our communities?<br />&#8211; What is the role of government in civil society? What is the role of charity in civil society?<br />&#8211; What is the role of the entrepreneur in civil society?<br />&#8211; How do I cultivate entrepreneurial creativity?<br />&#8211; What is good civic leadership?</p>


<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-what-are-the-components-of-the-fellowship"><strong>What are the components of the Fellowship?</strong></h2>


<p>&#8211; The Fellowship will meet twice a month for 90 min sessions at a time determined by participants. Each session will have a short reading, discussion, and writing assignment.<br />&#8211; Participants will also design and lead public virtual events<br />&#8211; The Fellowship concludes with a week-long capstone experience in Philadelphia, PA.</p>


<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-who-is-eligible-for-the-fellowship"><strong>Who is eligible for the Fellowship?</strong></h2>


<p>&#8211; The fellowship is open to 15-18 year old&#8217;s who are currently Juniors or Seniors (or equivalent).<br />&#8211; 20 fellows will be selected for the program.<br />&#8211; 20 fellows will be selected for the program.</p>
